Take It To The Streets has partnered with Faith In Action Community Church to offer a food pantry.
What: Free food for all who need it.
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
When: 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
Take It To The Streets offers free food, community resources, and encouragement to the community. Upcoming events are taking place in Russelldale, Dorchester Waylyn, and Dorchester Terrace over the next few months. Stay tuned to the events section for up coming events.
Our organization has organized arts based clubs, programs, and events in local high schools. We have also begun a mentoring program within high schools.
We will be creating a job shadowing and apprenticeship program to help students become successful.
Our non profit seeks to catalyze transformation in the lowest income and most neglected neighborhoods in Charleston and North Charleston.
We have partnered with and helped create neighborhood association groups and we continue to work within neighborhoods to seek positive change.
Take It To The Streets has partnered with schools since 2009. We recognize that schools are a huge part of neighborhoods. We believe that all children should have access to equitable and quality education.
We currently partner with several schools and non profits in order to help schools become successful.
Currently we are working to aid PTAs and School Improvement Councils in their efforts to improve their schools.
Take It To The Streets partners with businesses, city departments, faith based organizations, and other non profit organization in order to see change in North Charleston, SC and Charleston, SC.
We seek to see improved parks, sidewalks, schools, green spaces, additional job opportunities, and economic development in blighted areas.
We believe that we must be the change we want to see in this world.
